Terms of Service

Last updated: January 27, 2026

Agreement to Terms

By using the services of MAC McAllen Masonry, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms apply to all customers, including homeowners, businesses, and property managers who request quotes, schedule consultations, or hire us for masonry work. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

Services Provided

MAC McAllen Masonry provides professional masonry services including but not limited to brick repair, chimney work, tuckpointing, retaining walls, patios, walkways, stone veneer installation, and foundation repairs. All services are performed by licensed and insured contractors in accordance with local building codes and industry standards.

We reserve the right to refuse service to any customer or project that we determine to be unsafe, illegal, or outside our scope of expertise. We will provide clear explanations for any service refusals and offer referrals when appropriate.

Estimates and Pricing

We provide free on-site consultations and written estimates for all projects. Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue and are based on the conditions observed during the initial inspection. If additional work is discovered during the project, we will notify you immediately and provide a revised estimate before proceeding.

Final pricing may vary from the original estimate if unforeseen conditions are encountered, materials costs change, or you request modifications to the scope of work. We will always obtain your approval before performing additional work that affects the total cost.

Payment Terms

Payment terms will be specified in your written contract. For most residential projects, we require a deposit to secure your project date and purchase materials. The deposit amount typically ranges from 25% to 50% of the total project cost. The remaining balance is due upon completion of work and your satisfaction with the results.

We accept payment by cash, check, or credit card. For larger commercial projects, we may offer progress payment schedules that will be outlined in your contract. Late payments may be subject to interest charges as permitted by Texas law.

Project Timeline and Delays

We provide estimated completion timelines for all projects based on typical conditions. However, project timelines may be affected by weather, material availability, permit delays, or unforeseen site conditions. We will communicate any delays promptly and work with you to minimize inconvenience.

You are responsible for ensuring access to the work area and for relocating furniture, vehicles, or other items that may interfere with our work. Delays caused by lack of site access may extend the project timeline.

Permits and Regulations

MAC McAllen Masonry will obtain all necessary permits for projects that require them. Permit costs will be included in your estimate. You are responsible for ensuring that we have permission to perform work on your property and that any homeowners association requirements are met. We will work with you to ensure all work complies with local building codes and regulations.

Warranty and Guarantees

We stand behind our work with a one-year warranty on labor for all residential projects. This warranty covers defects in workmanship but does not cover damage from natural disasters, improper maintenance, or normal wear and tear. Material warranties are provided by the manufacturers and are passed through to you.

If you experience any issues with our work during the warranty period, contact us immediately. We will inspect the problem and make necessary repairs at no charge if the issue is determined to be caused by defective workmanship.

Liability and Insurance

MAC McAllen Masonry carries comprehensive general liability insurance and workers compensation coverage. We will provide proof of insurance upon request. Our insurance protects you from liability for injuries to our workers or damage to your property that occurs during the course of our work.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your project at any time before work begins by providing written notice. If materials have already been ordered, you will be responsible for the cost of non-returnable materials. Deposits for labor may be refunded at our discretion based on time invested in project planning.

If you cancel after work has begun, you will be charged for all work completed, materials used, and costs incurred up to the cancellation date.

Dispute Resolution

If you have concerns about our work or billing, please contact us immediately to discuss the issue. We are committed to resolving all customer concerns fairly and promptly. If we cannot reach an agreement, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in Hidalgo County, Texas, in accordance with Texas law.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with the updated date. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
